Fans of the hit Amazon Prime series “The Boys” have been eagerly awaiting any news about the upcoming fourth season. And now, thanks to Karl Urban, who plays Billy Butcher in the show, we have some exciting hints about a possible new character: Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

During an interview with Collider, Urban dropped some tantalizing hints about what fans can expect from season 4 of “The Boys.” When asked if he knew anything about Morgan potentially joining the cast, Urban replied, “I absolutely do.”

While Urban didn’t reveal any specific details about the character Morgan would be playing, he did suggest that fans of the comic book series on which the show is based might have an idea of who the actor could portray.

“I can’t really talk about it too much, but I think fans of the graphic novel will be very happy,” Urban said. “It’s a character that we’ve been talking about for a long time and it’s a character that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is perfect for.”

Fans of “The Boys” comic series might immediately think of a character named “The Legend,” who is a superhero-turned-villain who becomes one of the main antagonists in the later issues. Morgan’s rugged good looks and imposing presence could certainly fit the bill for such a character.

Of course, it’s also possible that Morgan could be playing an entirely new character that has yet to be introduced in the comics. The TV series has diverged from the source material in several significant ways, so it’s anyone’s guess who Morgan could be playing.

One thing is for sure, though: the addition of Morgan to the already-impressive cast of “The Boys” would be a major coup for the series. Morgan is a beloved actor who has starred in a number of popular TV shows and movies, including “The Walking Dead” and “Watchmen.” He has a dedicated fanbase who would likely follow him to whatever project he takes on next, and his star power could help attract even more viewers to “The Boys.”

Of course, the news of Morgan’s potential involvement in season 4 is just one of many things that fans of the series have to look forward to. The third season is set to premiere later this year, and early reports suggest that it will be just as action-packed and irreverent as the first two seasons.

One of the major storylines of the third season will be the aftermath of the explosive season 2 finale, which saw the reveal of Stormfront’s true identity and the departure of several key characters. The new season will also introduce several new characters, including Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, who is set to play a major role in the show.

All of this adds up to an incredibly exciting time for fans of “The Boys.” With the addition of Jeffrey Dean Morgan to the cast and the promise of even more thrilling storylines in the upcoming seasons, it’s clear that this series isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

So while we don’t know for sure who Morgan will be playing in season 4 of “The Boys,” it’s safe to say that fans are already buzzing with excitement at the possibility. Whether he’s playing an existing character from the comics or a brand new addition to the series, Morgan’s involvement is sure to bring even more energy and excitement to this already-incredible show.
