A Center for Public Health Practice is being established to ensure that connections to public health practice are incorporated throughout the planned Colorado School of Public Health. The Center will be an integral part of the graduate experience for students, a place where all public health disciplines converge in field application. It will also serve as the intellectual home for alumni and public health practitioners to engage in lifelong public health learning. Internships and practicum experiences will be required for all students in CSPH degree programs. The Center will be the hub for continuing public health training for the workforce. The Center will provide a range of entry level and continuing educational offerings (short courses, certificate programs, etc.) responsive to workforce needs, including training in bioterrorism preparedness, epidemiology, hazardous materials emergency response, and emerging infectious diseases, among others. > Return to Colorado School of Public Health Initiative |
